RadiGlobe Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 1, 2026
This policy explains what information the RadiGlobe app ("RadiGlobe", "we", "us") handles, why, and the choices you have. RadiGlobe is provided by Svezhin Iliev ("the developer").
The short version
- RadiGlobe has no user accounts. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Your presets, recently played stations and listening time are stored only on your device.
- When you listen, your device connects directly to the radio station's server, and to the Radio Browser station directory to find stations.
- Purchases are handled by Apple or Google, with RevenueCat keeping track of whether you have Pro.
- We don't sell your data, and we don't use analytics or tracking tools.
Information stored on your device
RadiGlobe saves the following on your device so the app works the way you left it:
- your saved presets (favorite stations),
- your recently played stations,
- how much free listening time you've used (for the free plan's hourly limit),
- a cached copy of the station directory used by the globe.
This information stays on your device. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Services the app connects to
To play radio, RadiGlobe connects to third-party services. Like any internet connection, these services receive your device's IP address and basic technical information (such as your device type and app version) when your device contacts them.
- Radio Browser (radio-browser.info), a free community directory of radio stations. RadiGlobe uses it to search for stations and list them by country, genre and location. When you play a station, the app tells Radio Browser which station was played, which helps keep its popularity rankings accurate. No information that identifies you is sent with this.
- Radio stations. When you play a station, your device streams audio directly from that station's server. Station logos are also loaded from the stations' own websites. These stations are independent third parties with their own privacy practices, which we don't control.
- RevenueCat (revenuecat.com), which manages in-app purchases. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous app user ID, your purchase history for RadiGlobe, and technical device information, so it can tell the app whether you have Pro and restore your purchases. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
- Apple App Store / Google Play, which process all payments. We never see or store your payment card details. Their privacy policies apply to your purchases.
Bug reports
If you choose to report a problem, RadiGlobe opens your own email app with the report filled in, so you can review it before sending. Besides what you write, the report includes the app version, your device's operating system and version, and the station you were listening to. We receive your email address because you send the report by email. We use reports only to fix problems and reply to you, and we delete them when they're no longer needed.
Advertising
The free plan shows promotions for RadiGlobe Pro, including a short promotion after each hour of listening. These are created by us and don't use any third-party advertising service or tracking.
If we add third-party advertising in the future, we will update this policy before it goes live and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
What we don't do
- We don't collect your location. The globe shows where stations are, not where you are.
- We don't access your microphone, contacts, photos or files.
- We don't use analytics, tracking or profiling tools.
- We don't sell or rent personal information.
Children
RadiGlobe is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
- You can delete all data stored by RadiGlobe on your device by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in your device settings.
- To delete your data, see "Deleting your data" below.
- Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information about you. Because RadiGlobe has no accounts and keeps your data on your device, we hold very little information about you. For purchase records, contact Apple or Google directly, or contact us and we will help. If you are in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, to your local data protection authority.
Deleting your data
RadiGlobe has no user accounts, so there is no account to delete. To delete your RadiGlobe data:
- Data on your phone (presets, recently played stations, listening time, cached station list): uninstall RadiGlobe, or on Android go to Settings → Apps → RadiGlobe → Storage → Clear data. This deletes it immediately; we never receive a copy.
- Purchase records (if you bought RadiGlobe Pro): email support@radiglobe.com with the subject "Delete my data" and the order number from your Google Play or App Store receipt (for example GPA.1234-5678-9012-34567). We delete the record held by RevenueCat (your anonymous ID and RadiGlobe purchase history) within 30 days and reply to confirm.
Google Play and the App Store keep their own records of your payment under their own privacy policies; contact them to delete those. Deleting your purchase record does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it in Google Play or the App Store first if you no longer want it. Your email to us is deleted once your request is complete. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when the app gains new features. We will change the effective date above and, for important changes, let you know in the app.
